Zul has an easy, consistant style, not too flashy thanks to the absence of spot colors. I get these in a shop on the highway just south of Simpang Tok Ku. The factory is not much further but naturally, despite directions, I haven't been able to find it yet. In 2007, I heard that 'Zul' was taking a batik course of some sort in KL so I'll be interested to see if there is a change in his style. [2008 update: I didn't manage to find any of his sarongs for sale in the market or in the shop and I still haven't made it out to the factory.]
