Kamis cranks out a lot of batik. The factory is well away from town and I've only been there once on a borrowed motorbike but there is an ample supply for sale at their shop in the Central Market and in nearby market stalls.
Stylistically, Kamis is all over the map but lately has segued from very bright splashy designs to more subtle patterns and colors. The pale blue and yellow diamond pattern (keep scrolling: 4rd row, left) is my favorite for 2007.
2008 was a complete turn-about. Their current look can be described as "marbelized" and they are also putting out a lot of uninspired traditional batik with bala kuning. Ugh and ugh.
