I bought S.Z.A.B.A.R.'s distinctive sarongs in shops and at the market before sussing out the location of the factory... and the next year, it closed down. I'm still heartbroken. Look at the detail! Very unusual stuff.
Unfortunately, I only have three different examples so I am showing two views (top row) of one and three views (middle row right and bottom row) of another.
The sarong above is based on a traditional Javanese design but unmistakably Malaysian in execution. Detailed views on the bottom row.
